Log-book, 1840.

The log-book of the ship Sarah Parker, John Davis, master, kept from 28 Feb.-28 Aug. 1840, details voyages from New Orleans to Liverpool, England, with a cargo of cotton; Liverpool to New York and Savannah with passengers for the former and salt for the latter; Savannah to New Orleans; and New Orleans to Boston with cotton, sugar, and buffalo hides. The last leaf of the volume contains a list of provisions (beef, port, and water) expended.
